29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii): Unused openings in boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not effectively closed: (a) Coating mill - On or about January 25, 2024, the employer did not ensure all openings in main distribution panel cabinets were closed to prevent accidental contact exposing employees to electrical hazards. (b) Coating mill - On or about January 25, 2024, the employer did not ensure that all the openings for the cabinet at the plasma cutter opening were closed exposing employees to electrical hazards. (c) Pipe mill Maintenance cage - On or about January 25, 2024, the employer did not ensure that all the openings for the switch box were closed exposing employees to electrical hazards.
