29 CFR 1915.14(a)(1)(i): Hot work was performed within, on, or immediately adjacent to spaces that contain or have contained combustible or flammable liquids or gases before those spaces were tested and certified by a Marine Chemist or a U.S. Coast Guard authorized person as "Safe for Hot Work". a) At the facility, on tank barge, hull marking Coastal 2526-B: On or about June 28, 2019 and times theretofore, employees performed hot work within and on cargo tanks and adjacent wing void spaces before being certified as safe for hot work.
