29 CFR 1910.138(a): The employer did not select and require employee(s) to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands were exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasion; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes: The employer does not protect employees from electrical hazards. At 10047 Compton Street, Belgrade, Missouri, specifically inside of the Grinding Mill, employee(s) were required to insert either a knife or a screw driver into the starter to engage the Mixer Machine. Suitable electrical protective equipment for the hands was not provided to protect the employee(s) from the hazard of severe electric shock or electrocution. This violation was noted on 05/22/19.
