29 CFR 1910.179(h)(4): The hook was not being used in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and limitations applicable to the operation, training and use in that the latch for the hook had been removed: a) Facility located at 360 Lambs Road, Sewell NJ, Warehouse/Production, A Bay: The hook used on the Reading crane to rig the metal was missing a latch, on or about 9/19/2017. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19
