29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a) Recycling Area, on or about 4/16/15: There was no written lockout/tagout procedure for the EPCO Wastebuster cardboard baler for employees providing servicing and/or maintenance on the equipment and no lockout procedures were utilized for the hydraulic pressure/stored energy to prevent movement of the ram after power was disconnected. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
