29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: a. 418 Duncan Ave, Jersey City , NJ - 418 Duncan Ave, Jersey City, NJ Vehicle Maintenance Facility / Front Gate Building (Gate Shack) The employer authorized flexible cords to be used in lieu of permanent wiring. Four extension cords run from the Front Gate Building (gate shack) and daisy chained were used to provide power to a vehicle maintenance facility that was not permanently wired. Violation observed on or about August 13, 2014
