29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that tension would not be transmitted to joints or terminal screws: (a) Maintenance Area: There was not adequate strain relief to the Thermal Dynamics welder. At the plug-in there was not adequate strain relief as the outer insulation had pulled back exposing interior wiring where the plug-in joined the cord. (b) Maintenance Area: There was not adequate strain relief for the Thermal Dynamics welder at the rear of the welder where the power cord attached to the welder as the outer insulation had pulled back exposing interior wiring.
