29 CFR 1910.119(j)(4)(iii): The frequency of inspections and tests of process equipment were not consistent with applicable manufacturers' recommendations and good engineering practices, and more frequently if determined to be necessary by prior operating experience: The employer did not conduct inspections and tests consistent with manufacturers' recommendations and good engineering practices for the following process equipment: (a)5 year hydrostatic testing on hydrogen fluoride tanks; U-613, U-404, and U-201. (b)Testing and exercising hydrogen fluoride tank vent valves; XV-652VB, XV-650VB, and XV-651VB. (c)Testing and exercising hydrogen fluoride tank dump valves; XV-652VA, XV-650VA, XV-651VA. Abatement documentation required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
