29 CFR 1910.265(c)(4)(iv): Elevated platform(s), 4 feet or more from the floor level, were not provided with a standard railing: a) At 20510 East Levy Street Williston, FL 32696, Log Shaver area; On or about 09/27/2024, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of 5 foot 10 inches to the ground, in that the guard rail system on the working platform maintenance catwalk for log shaver machine 1 had a top rail installed at approximately 27.5 inches. b) At 20510 East Levy Street Williston, FL 32696, Log Shaver area; On or about 09/27/2024, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of 5 feet to the ground, in that the guard rail system on the working platform maintenance catwalk for log shaver machine 2 had a top rail installed at approximately 31 inches. c) At 20510 East Levy Street Williston, FL 32696, Log Shaver area; On or about 09/27/2024, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 8 feet to the ground, in that there was no guard rail system on the working platform maintenance catwalk for log shaver machine 3 near the log loading area.
