29 CFR 1910.272(h)(2)(i): When employees walking or standing on or in stored grain or grain products of a depth which poses an engulfment hazard, equipment which presents a danger to that employee (such as an auger or other grain transport equipment) were not deenergized, and were not disconnected, locked-out and tagged, blocked-off, or otherwise prevented from operating by other equally effective means or methods: On or about April 25, 2024: Employee(s) emptying a flat storage area at or about 101 North Franklin Street, Brunswick, Nebraska was exposed to engulfment hazards. Employee was clearing a jam of the floor opening while the underground conveyor was not de-energized in a manner to prevent the flow of grain.
