29 CFR 1910.1053(f)(2)(i): The employer did not establish and implement a written exposure control plan: (a) QuarryCut Inc. located at 77 Wells Road, Parker Ford, PA 19457: On or about March 12, 2024, the employer did not establish and implement a written exposure control plan, to include specific tasks and controls used to minimize employee exposure to respirable crystalline silica. Employees were overexposed to respirable crystalline silica while engaged in stone cutting operations. Employees were exposed to respirable crystalline silica at an 8-hour TWA of 163.8436 �g/m3, 43.55 �g/m3, and 34.3 �g/m3, during occupational exposures of 321, 312, and 336 minutes respectively. Employees were using saws to split and cut stone and were above the above the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) of 50 �g/m3 and OSHA Action Level of 25 �g/m3. Zero exposures were assumed for all unsampled time periods. Personal samples were collected on April 16, 2024.
