29 CFR 1915.503(a)(2)(i): Before authorizing hot work in a non-designated area the employer did not visually inspect the area where hot work was performed, including adjacent areas to ensure the area was free from fire hazards. a) On or about February 24, 2022, aboard the Pride Wisconsin, employees were exposed to fire hazards when performing hot work in areas that were not free from fire hazards.
