29 CFR 1910.219(d)(1):Pulley(s) with part(s) seven feet or less from the floor or work platform were not guarded in accordance with the requirements specified in 29 CFR 1910.219(m) and (o): a) Dock Pit/Wastewater Treatment Area: On December 6, 2021, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to hazards that could result in amputations, in that pulleys on the pump motor of the wastewater treatment system were unguarded as employees operated the system. b) Processing Area, Interior: On March 9, 2022, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to hazards that could result in amputations, in that pulleys on the eddy current and water table lines were unguarded as employees operate the machines and clean excess scrap product from underneath them.
