29 CFR 1926.62(i)(4)(iv): The employer did not ensure that employees did not enter lunchroom facilities or eating areas with protective work clothing or equipment unless surface lead dust had been removed by vacuuming, downdraft booth, or other cleaning method that limited the dispersion of lead dust: The employer is failing to prevent employee exposure to lead hazards. The condition was most recently documented on February 28th, 2019, at 137 Hale Library, Manhattan KS. Employees engaged in paint removal activities in rooms 212 and 117 were exposed to lead hazards in that the employer did not ensure that employees removed contaminated PPE before entering the eating area.
