29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment is not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling:(a) Location: Pallet Repair Tables 5 and 6 The violation was observed on November 28th, 2016, when employees were exposed to electric shocks while using receptacles that were designed to be mounted and were lying loosely on the bottom shelf of their pallet repair table: 1) Receptacle box lying on bottom shelf of pallet repair table 5; 2) Receptacle box lying on bottom shelf of pallet repair table 6. To abate this violation, the employer must ensure that receptacles are designed and installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing and labeling. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, the employer must submit documents describing the steps it is taking to ensure compliance.
