29 CFR 1910.334(a)(2)(ii): There was a defect or evidence of damage that could have exposed employees to injury and the defective or damaged item was not removed from service: The employer does not ensure that electrical were maintained free from cuts and freys. This violation was observed on or about July 19, 2016 in the trim department at the facility, exposing employees to electrical hazards. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure that all flexible cords and/or cables are maintained in safe operating condition.
