29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii): Unused openings in cabinets, boxes, and fittings shall be effectively closed. a. In the Dump Pit Area where trucks are off loaded with grain to be stored in the grain bins, the Walker electrical disconnect had a 2 inch unused opening at the bottom of the energized electrical disconnect. b. In the Dump Pit Area where trucks are off loaded with grain to be stored in the grain bins, there was an unused opening in the top of the energized electrical disconnect thereby exposing employees to a contact hazard. c. In the Dump Pit Area where trucks are off loaded with grain to be stored in the grain bins, the small energized electrical disconnect had an unused opening in the bottom of the electrical disconnect thereby exposing employees to a contact hazard. d. In the Drive thru where retail sales of feed and farming supplies was performed, there was a unused opening in the bottom of the main service disconnect thereby exposing employees to a contact hazard. e. In the maintenance department where work on vehicles and equipment is performed, there were four missing circuit breakers missing in the main electrical panel thereby exposing employees to a contact hazard. f. In the maintenance department where work on vehicles and equipment was performed, there was an unused opening in the side of the main circuit breaker panel thereby exposing employees to a contact hazard.
