29 CFR 1910.178(o)(1): Only stable or safely arranged loads shall be handled. Caution shall be exercised when handling off-center loads which cannot be centered. a. Near the grain elevator the employees were using the forklift as an under slung hoisting device to raise a motor. The load was not protected from displacement from the rigging sliding free, the employees were exposed to a struck by hazard.
