Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 011D Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(1): Employers did not have a safety data sheet in the workplace for each hazardous chemical which they use: a) Plant - On or about 11/05/14 and at times prior thereto employees handled chemicals including (but not limited to) gasoline in bulk tank, Diesel fuel in bulk tank, and lubricant oils and greases. The employer did not collect the Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and made them available to the workers. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
