29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided that will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. a) On or about February 15, 2023, at a workplace located at 210 Maple Street, Denmark, WI in the Main Cutting Department; the flexible electrical cord powering the Baileigh Sander was pulled away from the fitting, exposing the internal conductors. b) On or about February 14, 2023, at a workplace located at 210 Maple Street, Denmark, WI in the Ariens Building; the flexible cord powering the dust collection system disconnect was pulled away from the fitting, exposing the internal conductors. c) On or about February 15, 2023, at a workplace located at 210 Maple Street, Denmark, WI in the CNC Building; the flexible cord powering the Heian vertical milling machine was pulled away from the fitting entering the machine cabinet, exposing the internal conductors.
