29 CFR 1926.405(g)(1)(iii)(A): Flexible cord(s) were being used as a substitute for fixed wiring of a structure. a) Old Lebanon Road, Welch Combined Elementary/Middle School, Dover AFB, DE 19902; on or about March 21, 2025, the employer did not ensure flexible cords used for temporary wiring to power equipment including but not limited to portable heater, lights, outlets, refrigeration equipment, etc. was replaced by fixed wiring due to flexible cords being more susceptible to damage from abrasion, crushing, and environmental factors leading to electrical shock or fire hazards.
