29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(i): Unused openings in boxes, raceways, auxiliary gutters, cabinets, equipment cases, or housings were not effectively closed to afford protection substantially equivalent to the wall of the equipment. a - On or about June 10, 2021, at Plant 4, in the outside MCC electrical room, at the LTS2 and LTS4 breakers on the 480v panel, employees resetting breakers were exposed to electrical shock as the employer did not ensure unused openings in the cabinet were effectively closed. b - On or about June 10, 2021, at Plant 4, in the outside MCC electrical room, at the unidentified electrical panel (110/220v), employees resetting breakers were exposed to electrical shock as the employer did not ensure unused openings in the cabinet were effectively closed.
