29 CFR 1910.272(g)(1)(i): The employer did not issue a permit for entering bins, silos or tanks in the grain handling facility before the employees entered the bins, silos, or tanks, and was not present during the entire operation: The employer does not protect employees from bin entry hazards such as but were not limited to a lack of atmospheric testing, fall protection, lockout/tagout, machine guarding, and rescue. At 10047 Compton Street, Belgrade, Missouri, specifically inside of the Grinding Mill, the employer did not issue permits prior to entry into a silo containing oats. The employer was not present during the entire bin entry operation. This violation was noted on 05/22/19.
