29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: Southern Tire Mart, Covington, Ga - (Throughout the facility) On or about May 29, 2018, and times prior to, extension cords were observed in the production area, such as, but not limited to: a)Inspection area - providing power to the computer, label machine, fans, radios, cell phones, etc. b)Retread area - providing power to the lights, and other equipment throughout the area, etc. c)Powder coating area- providing power to lights, fan, etc. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
