29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that tension would not be transmitted to joints or terminal screws: On or about February 21, 2017, in buildings 1 and 2, the employees were using flexible cords in fabrication of feeders and hunting blinds where the outer sheathing was pulled back from the plugs, removing the strain relief. The employees were exposed to an electrical shock hazard. a) Building 1, the foot pedal on the Scotchman ironworker had the outer sheathing pulled back exposing the internal conductors. b) Building 2, the welding station at the entrance of the building there was a 400 volt extension cord that had the outer sheathing pulled back on both ends of this extension cord. The extension was plugged into a Miller welder. c) Building 2, at the long table welding station in the front of building, the electrical cord was going to a welder where the outer sheathing was pulled back.
