29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(iv): There shall be no damaged parts that may adversely affect safe operation or mechanical strength of the equipment, such as parts that are broken, bent, cut, or deteriorated by corrosion, chemical action, or overheating: On or about August 11, 2016, and times prior thereto, at this establishment, employees used equipment that had damaged and deteriorated parts that affected the safe operation or mechanical strength of the equipment such as: a. A cord connected to a Vaduz Deckel Cutter Tool Grinder, and, b. A cord connected to a Metal Cutting Table Circular Saw.
