29 CFR 1910.1053(c): The employer did not ensure that no employee was exposed to an airborne concentration of respirable crystalline silica in excess of 50 g/m3, calculated as an 8-hour TWA: (a) On or about October 17, 2024 - Abrasive blasting area, an employee was exposed to an airborne concentration of Respirable Crystalline Silica (RCS) at 137 micrograms per cubic meter (ug/m3), approximately 2.7 times the 8-hour TWA OSHA permissible exposure limit (PEL) of 50 ug/m3. The sampling was performed during one shift on October 24, 2024 for 452 minutes.
