29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling: Southern Tire Mart, Covington, GA (Throughout the facility) - On or about 5/29/2018, and times prior to, the employer failed to use a power strip (re-locatable power tap) in accordance with its listing and labeling. Electrical cords and outlets were attached to overhead lights to include, but is not limited to the retread area, powder coating area, and inspection area. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
