29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): The employer shall provide portable fire extinguishers and shall mount, locate and identify them so that they are readily accessible to employees without subjecting the employees to possible injury. a. On or about August 17, 2017, located near the banding station, there was a fire extinguisher that was mounted but not identified of its location, thereby exposing the employees to a fire hazard. b. On or about August 17, 2017, located at Crane 257, there was a fire extinguisher located on the landing above the cab that was not mounted and identified, thereby exposing the employees to a fire hazard.
