29 CFR 1910.179(e)(2)(i): Crane(s) were not provided with bridge bumpers or other automatic means providing equivalent effect. a) On or about May 11, 2016, the employer failed to ensure that the 5-ton Robbins & Myers overhead crane, Crane #671, located in Building 130, had bumpers installed, exposing employees to falling loads/struck-by hazards. b) On or about May 11, 2016, the employer failed to ensure that the 5-ton R & M overhead crane, Crane #676, located in Building 130, had bumpers installed, exposing employees to falling loads/struck-by hazards. c) On or about May 11, 2016, the employer failed to ensure that the 20-ton Checo overhead crane, Crane #665, located in Building 155, had bumpers installed, exposing employees to falling loads/struck-by hazards. d) On or about May 31, 2016, the employer failed to ensure that the 3-ton CM Lodestar overhead crane, Crane# 5184, located in Building 170, had bumpers installed, exposing employees to falling loads/struck-by hazards.
