29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(ii): Flexible cords were not used in continuous lengths without splice or tap: Employees working in the oil lab were exposed to electrical shock hazards in that the flexible cord of the vacuum deluge-pump for oil was spliced together with another flexible cord instead of being plugged in directly to an outlet, as well as lacked appropriate insulating properties. 29 CFR 1903.19(c)(2) abatement of the above violation was verified at the time of inspection.
