29 CFR 1910.272(h)(1): Each employee who walks or stands on or in stored grain, where the depth of the grain poses an engulfment hazard, was not equipped with a lifeline or alternative means which the employer demonstrates will prevent the employee from sinking further than waist-deep into the grain: On or about April 25, 2024: Employee(s) emptying a flat storage area at or about 101 North Franklin Street, Brunswick, Nebraska was exposed to engulfment hazards. Employee was walking and standing on the grain of a flat storage site without a lifeline or alternative means of preventing employee from sinking further than waist-deep into the grain.
