29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding shall be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: Mixing Department, Line 16 (Floor 2): On or about February 22, 2022 and times prior, the hydraulic ram of the Kobelco Stewart Bolling, Inc. mixer for Line 16 was missing sections of machine guarding on the South and Southeast sides of the unit exposing mixer operators to hazards created by the moving ram components and stationary machine frame.
