29 CFR 1910.252(b)(2)(iii): Workers and other persons adjacent to the welding area were not required to wear appropriate goggles to protect them from the rays when noncombustible or flameproof screens or shields were not used: At a worksite located at 2221 N Belcrest Ave Springfield, MO: Employees were exposed to ultraviolet light hazards. This was demonstrated on or about March 18, 2021, and at times prior to when works were welding at the facility without the use of screens or shields. This created a hazard with other welders and employees in the area being exposed to the rays generated by the welding process.
