29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would enable each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and stairways and train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards: a- Lot 549, 2 Westmont Drive, Medford NJ: Employees were exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of 13 to the ground surface below, when using damaged portable aluminum extension ladders, were unsecured, set on an unstable surface, and were not being used as per the manufacturer requirements. Conditions observed on or about 10/20/2020. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
