29 CFR 1926.452(k)(4): Ladders used to support ladder jacks were not placed, fastened, or equipped with devices to prevent slipping: a) Worksite, 57 Glenmore Ave, Montauk NY, West Side of Building - Employees were performing cedar shake siding installation work from a ladder jack scaffold approximately 27-feet above a concrete basement stairwell and the ladder used to support the ladder jack scaffold was not fastened or equipped with devices to prevent slipping; on or about 01/24/2020. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
