29 CFR 1910.120(q)(8)(i): Employees who were trained in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6) did not receive annual refresher training of sufficient content and duration to maintain their competencies or did not demonstrate competency in those areas at least yearly: a) GEA/FES and Frick ammonia refrigeration system: Ammonia mechanics designated as Hazardous Materials Technicians and required to respond, investigate and potentially stop ammonia leaks as much as feasibly possible, had not received the annual refresher training as required by the standard, on or about 10/10/2017. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
