29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks were not examined before being placed in service: a) Facility located at 360 Lambs Road, Sewell NJ, Warehouse/Production: Powered industrial trucks were not inspected at least daily prior to use or at the end of each shift, on or about 9/19/2017. Abatement Note: Industrial trucks shall be examined before being placed in service. Such examination shall be made at least daily. Where industrial trucks are used on a round-the-clock basis, they shall be examined after each shift. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19.
