29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven -7 feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: a) On or about 1/20/17 at the three Incline Cleaners (all attached); the employer allowed employees to work at the Cleaners where the chain and sprocket were not guarded; thus exposing employees to amputation injuries. b) On or about 1/20/17 at the #I,II and III Lint Cleaners; the employer allowed employees to work at the Cleaners where the chain and sprocket were not guarded; thus exposing employees to amputation injuries. c) On or about 1/20/17 at the Incoming Feeder machine; the employer allowed employees to work at the Feeder machine where the chain and sprocket were not guarded; thus exposing employees to amputation injuries. d) On or about 1/20/17 next to the BESPRESS machine; the employer allowed employees to work at the Bail Bagger machine where the chain and sprocket were not guarded; thus exposing employees to amputation injuries. e) On or about 1/20/17 in the Opening Department; the employer allowed employees to work at the Feeder machine where the chain and sprocket were not guarded; thus exposing employees to amputation injuries.
