29 CFR 1926.416(e)(1): Worn or frayed electric cords or cables were used: a- Basement - 642 Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn NY: On or about 1/14/16 site workers were using a temporary light bulb socket that was powered with a cut extension cord. b- Basement - 642 Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn NY: On or about 1/14/16 site workers were using an extension cord whose outer covering was visibly damaged and missing in some sections. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
