29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch: a) This violation occurred on or about June 3, 2015, in the Little bag Department in the northwest section of the shop area where employees were allowed to operate a Dayton bench grinder with the tongue guard inadequately adjusted. The distance between the abrasive wheel and the metal housing was greater than 1/4".
