29 CFR 1910.303(f)(1): Motors and appliances. Each disconnecting means required by this subpart for motors and appliances shall be legibly marked to indicate its purpose, unless located and arranged so the purpose is evident. a. In the dump pit area where trucks are off loaded with grain for storage in the grain bins, the walker electrical disconnect was not marked as to the equipment or purpose of the electrical disconnect thereby exposing employees to a contact hazard. b. In the control room beside the dump pit area where trucks are off loaded with grain for storage in the grain bins, the energized electrical disconnect was not marked as to the equipment or purpose of the electrical disconnect thereby exposing employees to a contact hazard.
