29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) Plant-Wide: Employees were required to work with hazardous chemicals and substances, including, but not limited to, combustible dust (wood dust), Aqua-Magic BSD-613, Akzo catalyst, Akzo E-Var 80 low gloss, Wurth mid-temp thinner, Sherwood Kemvar reducer, Sherwood Kemvar conversion varnish, Sherwood varnish sealer, Sherwood vinyl basecoat, and Sherwin Williams Kemvar 80 series varnish, and had not completed training on hazardous chemicals. The employer did not provide training on the health effects and safe methods to use when working with hazardous chemicals and substances, on or about 12/21/22.
