29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) Spray Finishing and Sanding Operations: Employees are required to use hazardous chemicals and substances, including, but not limited to, lacquer thinner, IVM Hardener, IVM clear matt acrylic topcoat, IVM P.U. thinner and wood products. The employer did not provide information and training on hazardous chemicals prior to allowing affected employees to work with hazardous chemicals, on or about 2/5/20.
