29 CFR 1910.219(f)(1): Gear(s) were not guarded by a complete enclosure or by one of the methods specified in 29 CFR 1910.219(f)(1)(ii) and (f)(1)(iii): The employer does not ensure gears on a grinding machine are properly guarded. This violation was observed on or about November 15, 2017 in the grinding area. Employees were exposed to caught-in hazards. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure the gears on the grinding machine are properly guarded.
