29 CFR 1910.219(e)(1)(i): Horizontal belts which had both runs seven feet or less from the floor level were not guarded with a guard that extended to at least fifteen inches above the belt: a) On or about 1/20/17 at the Murray Press #2; the employer allowed employees to work at the Press where the belts were not guarded; thus exposing employees to amputation injuries. b) On or about 1/20/17 at the #I,II and III Lint Cleaners; the employer allowed employees to work at the Cleaners where the belts were not guarded; thus exposing employees to amputation injuries. c) On or about 1/20/17 at the Incoming Feeder machine; the employer allowed employees to work at the Feeder machine where the belts were not guarded; thus exposing employees to amputation injuries. d) On or about 1/20/17 in the Opening Department at the Feeder machine; the employer allowed employees to work at the Feeder machine where the belts were not guarded; thus exposing employees to amputation injuries. f) On or about 1/20/17 near the Suction Fan Motor; the employer allowed employees to work near the air compressor where the compressor belts were not guarded; thus exposing employees to amputation injuries.
