29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(E): Flexible cords and/or cables were concealed behind building walls, ceilings, or floors: a) K Plant, old #1 Kiln, 6th and Center Streets, Tarentum, Pennsylvania 15084: Observed on or about July 28, 2015, a flexible cable (220 volt, 3 phase) used to supply power to a fan was draped over the ceiling of the old #1 kiln. The flexible cable was plugged into an outlet on the #2 kiln push control panel and was concealed by the ceiling of the old #1 kiln. Employees working in the area, including kiln fireman and electricians, were exposed to the hazards of fire and electric shock.
