29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: In the following locations, flexible cords were used lieu of permanent wiring: A. Shipping: On, or about, April 5, 2024, an orange and black extension cord was run from a wall mounted receptacle over to the shipping desk to energize a computer. B. Special Ball: On, or about, April 5, 2024, a yellow extension cord was used to energize a light fixture and a sandblasting cabinet. Also, buss drop cable was sitting on top of the cage enclosure to energize a scrap chopper. C. Boiler House, Quality Lab Exterior: On, or about, April 16, 2024: 1. A sump pump was energized through an extension cord. 2. A coffee pot was energized through a two-wire extension cord with a 3 prong to 2 prong grounding adapter. 3. A heat gun was energized through an orange extension cord.
