Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 010A Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.334(a)(1): Portable electric equipment was not handled in a manner which would not cause damage: a. Inbound - On or about December 20, 2022, the Toyota E0004 electric pallet jack had a damaged charging cord, employees were exposed to electrical hazards. b. Door 12 - On or about December 20, 2022, the dock door trailer light had damage to the cord jacket, employees were exposed to electrical hazards. c. Door 38 - On or about December 20, 2022, the dock door trailer light had damage to the cord jacket, employees were exposed to electrical hazards. d. Outbound - On or about December 20, 2022, the Toyota EJ03 cord was damaged to the point of exposed copper wiring, employees were exposed to electrical hazards. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
