29 CFR 1910.219(d)(1): Pulley(s) with part(s) seven feet or less from the floor or work platform were not guarded in accordance with the requirements specified in 29 CFR 1910.219(m) and (o): a) On or about 1/20/17 at the three Incline Cleaners (all attached); the employer allowed employees to work at the Cleaners where the pulleys were not guarded; thus exposing employees to amputation injuries. b) On or about 1/20/17 at the Murray Press #2; the employer allowed employees to work at the Press where the pulleys were not guarded; thus exposing employees to amputation injuries. c) On or about 1/20/17 at the #I,II and III Lint Cleaners; the employer allowed employees to work at the Cleaners where the pulleys were not guarded; thus exposing employees to amputation injuries. d) On or about 1/20/17 at the Incoming Feeder machine; the employer allowed employees to work at the Feeder machine where the pulleys were not guarded; thus exposing employees to amputation injuries. e) On or about 1/20/17 in the Opening Department at the Feeder machine; the employer allowed employees to work at the Feeder machine where the pulleys were not guarded; thus exposing employees to amputation injuries. f) On or about 1/20/17 near the Suction Fan Motor; the employer allowed employees to work near the air compressor where the compressor pulleys were not guarded; thus exposing employees to amputation injuries.
